Classic & Sportscar Concours
Entries will be accepted on the day – Sunday 21 July from 8.00am – 10.30am
One of the highlights of Classic Nostalgia will be the Classic & Sports Car Concours taking place on the Sunday. It is open to all cars built before 1985, and the judging will be headed up by motoring journalist and regular Shelsley Walsh competitor Simon Taylor. He will be joined by John Mayhead, classic car valuations expert from Hagerty, plus Classic & Sports Car magazine.
There will be 4 classes to be judged as well as a 'Best in Show', ‘Judges’ Choice and ‘Spirit of the Day’ awards. The ‘Spirit of the Day’ will be awarded for an entry that may not be in top concours condition but outstanding in its own special way. There are some fabulous prizes to be awarded, courtesy of our event sponsors and partners.
Pre-World War 2
1949 to 1959
Overall winner of Best in Show will be chosen from the 5 class winners.
If the entries justify it, judges may present a “Spirit of the Day” award for an entry not necessarily in concours condition, but outstanding in its own special way.
The judging will start at 10.30am so please have your car in place in good time.
Upon arrival at the event, follow the signs to the Concours and you will be given a show number which must be displayed on your windscreen at all times.
Prize giving will be at the Concours tent at Midday and prize winners, 2nd and 3rd in each class need to be in their cars at 12.30pm ready for the parade up the hill as soon as the track is closed for lunch around 1.00pm.
The overall winner will be invited to show his/ her car on the MAC stand at the NEC in November – assuming that event goes ahead.
No advance entry fee required: just turn up and show off your classic! A general entrance ticket is required unless you are an MAC member. On arrival, please advise our Parking team that you would like to enter the Concours and they will direct you. ( On a first come first served basis).
